Problems on patch 7.0.4.3?

So I downloaded the latest patch 7.0.4.3 and now the download browser gives error in amazon video download “You are running an old or unsupported version of this browser”, which it didn’t before and Crunchyroll gives error KAT-6005 and doesn’t start the video. Is it just me?

Ragnarocek I did, which still doesn’t answer about the crunchyroll issue and the Prime video shows no error and only the amazon video does. Like I said before, it is a new issue on this patch as it wasn’t happening on 7.0.4.2 at all. Disney, Netflix, HBO, etc all seem to work, which the thread also seem to have people complaining about, which is not the case for me. So since it could be only me I decided to ask a new question. The passive aggressive answer ain’t helping nobody.

This pre-existed 7043, so not a new issue. Devs will have to update the internal Chrome engine

DarkSkies it is new to me, yesterday and for the last 2 weeks I have not had this issue. Thanks for the answer, will wait on a fix.

I have the same problem. When I updated Streamfab to version 7.0.4.3, the program’s browser gives an error when I launch a DRM-protected MPD movie. The movie does not start in the program’s browser. I kindly ask the developers of this Streamfab program to improve and update the DRM-protected MPD movies so that I can download them.

I also am having this problem. Downloaded 7.0.4.3 today. Selected 3 movies and 2 series on Prime. All of them displayed the version too old message, but proceeded to D/L the 3 movies and 1 series. The second series, Crusoe (2008) with Sam Neill downloaded 11 of the episodes, but failed on episode 4 and 7 with an error message “Failed to obtain the decryption key…” and then said to contact you. I tried different settings of sound and video and no change.

Any ideas???

0xFeedBeef It is giving the error only on the streamfab app. With 0 Downloads made. It doesn’t appear on the crunchyroll app, Edge, Chrome or Firefox. Apart from Streamfab, Crunchyroll works just fine, all videos play I can download them to watch offline. Thank you for the feedback.

I can’t download from u.co.uk it keeps coming up with the that’s embarrassing error screen and won’t let me download i’ve tried a clean install and deleted the log and temp files and its not doing anything

This is an issue I have encountered from time to time. We can only wait for the next update from the development team. Please wait.

dfbpadrao more than likely your installed browsers are updated to the latest version, which is why there’s no error. StreamFab has an embedded browser, which we as end-users can’t update manually - we rely on the StreamFab devs to update the internal browser. Until they release a new version of SF with the updated internal browser, there’s nothing we can do for the sites that are ~~failing~~ still showing the “outdated browser” error message.

dfbpadrao depends on how many you download in one go, 10 or more in one batch triggers that, I’m on 7042 downloading three at a time with 15 mins pause between them avoids that message… Again, it’s all been discussed on this forum before, use the search function

All providers where SF use with PlayReady work with the outdated CEF version ..
.. so why should we assume that providers that use SF with
Widevine wouldn’t work if the same CEF version is used?

It’s not outdated CEF - it’s outdated Widevine
so it’s not “only” an update - a new crack is required ..

Germania I was addressing only the OP’s comment that StreamFab is showing an error for outdated browser while his other browsers have no error. (You’re correct that a SF update with a new browser won’t solve the key fail issues, but it’ll address the outdated browser error!)

On Amazon, individual users kept reporting the same browser outdated message (before yesterday) ..
.. and it cleared up all on its own - without any changes being made.
Maybe it’s the same with CR.
