Hi everyone,

We’ve released a new StreamFab Beta to fix two issues that were blocking video analysis and downloads for some users.

What’s Fixed

Built-in browser engine updated
Some streaming sites now require a newer browser. When the built-in browser can’t meet that requirement, videos fail to play — and StreamFab can’t analyze them to start the download.

This Beta updates the built-in browser engine so these sites can load and be analyzed normally again.

DRM decryption engine upgraded
We’ve upgraded the DRM decryption engine to fix download failures on sites like Amazon and others affected by the same issue.

Please fully quit StreamFab before installing, then restart after the update.

After upgrading and running the beata, StreamFab crashed immediately after I launched Amazon Prime. It was my first action: run SF, click Amazon Prime >> crash >> automatic report sent. Sorry, I didn’t capture the screens.

(After that, I relaunched but this time clicked on CW, it opened normally. Opened Amazon and no crash. I successfully downloaded a new episode (released Thu 8/6) with ~~H264~~ H265 HEVC - no issues with the analysis/processing. Output file is good with embedded subtitles. Will test some more/other modules.)

Side note: The Disney module no longer outputs the provider/service name in the filename. This issue goes back to at least 7041 but I keep forgetting to report it.

I was not able to replicate the initial crash - after fully closing, launching and immedatately opening Amazon Prime, it behaves normally. So it seems it happened only on first launch after installation.

I can verify that Amazon is working again. Have not attempted anything else yet. One curiosity, as mentioned above, is thatthe first site opened crashes the program. In my case, it was Tubi. Thereafter, everything ran very smooth. Thanks for the quick resolution!

Tried a few different options with ones that failed before and all are working, so looking good. Apart from the crash on first running the beta ( as noted above ), no other issues so far.

Processing after downloading MPD DRM content is slow, but it works.

Browser warning is gone, and downloading a season right now which failed yesterday via AP->P+.

Everything is working. Browser and Decryption key issues resolved thus far. I had the same first startup crash reported by others but after that all is good.

after exit and start again, now working. speed is good (25 MB/s - my max down speed)

Amazon appears to be working again.

Crashed when I tried to start already queued-up stuff, but that’s easily fixed: just delete the queue and re-add the stuff

Peacock seems to be back to 4K in this beta version. Have not tested all movies, though.

Working well so far …

If anyone still has issues with 4k on Peacock, 7037 should do 4k for Peacock.

If Hulu does not work try through Disney+ module.
I do see there is Hulu content missing from Disney+.
Seems SF Gave up on the Hulu module.

Or if 7038 works for Hulu us that.
