I have not been able to download with Amazon for over a week and I opened a support ticket. Support is non existant. I opened a support ticket and as with every other company it opened with AI agent put me in a rabbit hole that gave me nothing but check spoort forums. When I asked to escalate human I saw absolutely nothing on ticket for 2 days so I asked for status and it gave the canned response they will contact me within 48 hours. Now 72 hours later nothing. I tell you I no longer recomend DVDFab to anyone as support has gone by the wayside since they dove into the AI craze and you have to wonder how many people are in support now. Support was always poor on communicating but this is ridiculous. I have been looking into other software equivlan to MusicFab and and considering purchasing one I have found and giving up and and viewing my expense on this poorly supported softeware a a large loss of money.

They will usually catch up over here once Streamfab updates are sorted.
Prime has fluxxed up maybe 5 times in past 20 months for me, but the admin folks here do get to it eventually. It’s been priceless for me to download higher bitrate versions of all the music I already have on CD from the past 30 years. Annoying, but I’m confident they will circle back to this eventually – and when they sort out WHAT Prime is actually doing to block downloads, which is not always evident.

Just for laughs, I did another complete clean install, and back to getting the Chrome needs update error. That often goes away in couple days, but then I get the error on download. So, holding out for updates 🙂

If they are currently working on adapting to a change in Amazon’s specifications, they should simply say that the issue is causing the current unusable feature and that users should wait for the fix. Their failure to do so is fueling distrust. Reporting is important.

They generally work on the priorty products first, meaning largest number of customers/users. This has been my experience the past couple of years. Patience! They will get to it, they always do. This is mostly a user forum, not live tech support, so don’t expect daily updates on anything here.

Amazon music converter no longer detect lossless format. Only opus is available.

With the new version today, downloaded from the alt locatioh, was able to download two albums from PRIME here in the US. Did not show the bitrates when anaylyzing but Mediainfo shows they did come down as FLAC 24/48 as expected.

It has been working for me all week, but today I am suddenly only seing “FLAC” as download for both old and new (e.g., LION, or Ben Folds), no options for different bitrates, no bitrate identified. One album showed no tracks. I am downloading an album now to see if it even downloaded properly.
Tried usual - clear/delete cache; re-login to PRIME.
