Hi there on playback is purple and green colour on 2160p Dolby vision Atmos.
Can you please help me.

Frequent Question. Use the right playback software that tone maps such as Media Player Classic Home Cinema or do not download HDR or DoVi streams.
VLC can do HDR10 tone mapping, unsure of DoVi.

You shouldn’t use DoVi or HDR if your player don’t support it ..
.. HDR10 would look pink and Dolby Vision look green
if your player cannot decipher or tone map -> info

dont go for Dolby Vision if you use Windows, Microsoft Media Player or VLC. You cant play Dolby Vision files using stock codecs. Go for HDR using a PC for playback, or buy a palyer the Dolby Vision licence is included.
It’s nothing wrong with the rip file,
For example a Revolution player processing Dolby Vision dlc’s without any problems.

FlashGordon1938 not entirely true- Film & TV app (or whatever it’s called in your locale) is perfectly fine playing DoVi profile 5 (even on my old Legion 5 15ACH6H) with native H.265 decoder; the problem is that you need both capable hardware and software. If you download DoVi profile 5 and try to play it on incapable soft+hard combo you get false colours, that’s all.

My original reply using MPC-HC is still very valid. No messing around, it just works! I always suggest K-Lite Codec Pack, which comes with MPC-HC.

VLC’s official stance on supporting DoVi was that they did not support it because they did not want to get in trouble with Dolby Labs (licensing issue).
