Fandango 4K

Did anyone try to download a 4K movie from Fandango? It’s listed in
https://forum.dvdfab.cn/d/471910-known-sites-where-streamfab-states-to-support-4k
I can see details of a movie with 4K on the Fandango screen. But the 4K resolution doesn’t show up on Downloader screen.

I think that mainly (or only) applies to paid content ..
.. I can’t detect any free 4K offerings at the moment.

I was able to download my 4K purchases last year okay. Rentals and free stuff only possible at 1080p. Some older stuff purchased on DVD, vs digital, won’t be available as 4K unless you bought a 4K disc.

Oh ok, purchases and free stuff. I tried the free movie of Royale Casino and it didn’t work. Thanks for clearing that up.

I downloaded the movie that I bought that had a code yesterday (the new Star Wars). It worked fine for me. It had the 4K (2160) and the 1080 options. Downloaded both versions. I can’t speak for everyone.

I was using the current version of streamfab.

yep; there are no FREE 4K options, but 4K purchases of physical and or digital versions can be downloaded, including movies anywhere stuff. 🙂 I got all my 4K movies and work great. Escept for one weirdo file, which I’ve not retried, which was BATTLE LOS ANGELES – gave up, and eventually got it via my Apple account. Always a bit of a “dance” on this stuff. I stopped downloading regular movies from Netflix, as anything I care about will end up elsewhere in 4K vs 1080p. (oops, went off on a tangent there … sorry)
