I like to see the option to keep the anamorphic nature of the source video in the output.
Right now, an anamophic source is properly converted to it's display resolution and encoded at that resolution with square pixels.
For display at the native display resolution, this changes nothing.
But if upscaling is required to bring it to HD resolutions, it will make a quality difference vertically (I assume 16:9, 2.35:1 aspect ratios). For that, the codec has to do the upscaling directly from the source.
