Running multiple DVD/Blurays from multiple drives at the same time?

Is it possible to have say 3 drives, have a current task ripping from 1 drive, then setup a scheduled task from the remaining drives. So while 1 task is running I add another disc in another drive, have it read and confirm disc and setup this 2nd disc as a scheduled task?

Just wondering if I should get more than 1 blu-ray reader.
