I bought DVDFab late last year and used it to rip and transcode a couple of my DVDs to a format I can use on my iPhone. Worked very well. I always had intended to use the HD capabilities to also rip my HD-DVD collection for mobile use, and I thought I was able to do this in DVDFab v5. I just didn't get to it until recently...
I upgraded to DVDFab v6 a while back and now can't seem to do anything with HD-DVDs. I looked at the filter drivers on my HD-DVD player, deinstalled a bunch of software that was associated with my optical drive, etc.
Have I gone totally nuts, or didn't DVDFab v5 allow me to rip HD-DVDs? When I insert an HD-DVD in my drive I can choose to open it with DVDFab, but the title does not appear in the DVDFab window, the optical drive simply shows up as the "output" device with no label.
Oh, I own DVDFab Platinum with the Mobile option.
