dvdid.xml not working

I can't get the creation of dvdid.xml file to work on any version (are now running latest qt version)..
What is wrong with this function ??

Doesn't anyone have any leeds to why this doesn't work at all ?
And has never done so (create a dvdid.xml file that is)
