I have this issue when using Blu Ray copy, I do not use the other programs so I do know if it exists there. When I first open DVDFab it opens in full screen (larger than maximized, it covers up the toolbar on Win7). I have to minimize and restore down several times before it does it. Its a little annoying.

A known bug for some users.
I used to consider myself lucky until it started happening to me too a few QT versions ago.
I think they tried to fix it once, but I don't know that they were ever able to reproduce it on their end so isolating a cause was a bit tough.
