I can't comment on the FabCheck.exe but I did notice one thing from your log which can make a world of difference in using DVDFab.
Your Video card, an ATI Radeon HD3000, this model originally come out 7 or 8 years ago if I recall correctly. They almost never update the drivers for older video cards as they are considered to be Legacy (out dated).
You don't need to buy the most powerful card out there which could cost you a bundle, but hopefully you could easily afford something along the line of the 7000 series or maybe go with a recent nVidia card. Either way, you'll see improvement.
Just make sure that you get one which will fit your system.
IE: AGP, PCI or PCIe (check to see what kind of slot the video card fits in) might be time to build a new system.
hi wilson,
this is a correction to my last posting to you.
system details are.
OS:-WINDOWS XP.
CARD:- N VIDIA GEFORCE 7300LE with turbo cache.
the log is correct.

The "fabcheck.exe" crash issue on Windows XP is fixed in next build, please have a try after it out.
BTW, CUDA GPU is supported from GF 8800 or higher, please check it by GPU-Z, maybe you should update your PC.
