OK, so I think i need a new BR drive, i keep getting read errors of several BR discs. I'm currently using An LG model BP50N40. Please give me your OPs of a better BR drive

The firmware on some of the above models will not support 4k UHD discs without a firmware change, which can be done with the DVDFab UHD Drive Tool. I use the LG BH16NS55 and BH16NU50. You can find many of them on ebay with the firmware already fixed for 4k UHD, just search for "UHD Friendly". Even if you are not currently interested in UHD discs, most of these drives offer superior performance on Blu-ray and DVD since they have the mechanical tolerances for supporting 4k.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................
