Good afternoon.
New to the DVDFab family and I have a question regarding 4k Ripping.
Hardware Specs: NEW Apple Mac Book Pro M4 Max. Using a Pioneer 4K (Unlocked MKV guy) disk drive. Using Sata to USB-C/Thunderbolt connection.
I have attempted to rip two disks over the weekend. Star Wars (Last Jedi) 4K. The process stops at 26GB, then does nothing. I end up cancelling it after 4 hours.
Captain Marvel 4K, The process completes at 26.08GB (M4P-4K) with stereo output. However it is taking 9 hours to complete this entire process.
It appears the Disk copies over initially, then the process (conversion) starts in the back ground. NOT 100% on that theory, but the drive is not active and process is active.
Is this normal to take 9 hours, or is there a different setting that I should be using?
Thank you,
Newbie
