I copied a Blu-ray disc to a Maxwell BD-R disc in my HP Blu-ray disc writer (HP BD340i). The DVDFab Blu-ray to Blu-ray software said it copied it OK, it will play in the computer using the DVDFab program; but it will not play in my Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray Disc Player. Any solutions?

As a general-rule-of-thumb (and only general... there will be exceptions as no one rule covers all situations)... use only QUALITY media.
If you take a gander through the DVD to DVD section, time and again, you'll see suggestions to get rid of questionable media and replace it with known good media. In DVDs, the quality issue is well known.
BD, in terms of quality media, is less-well explored at present, but, if you have a situation where media will play in the burner that created it, and nowhere else, then 99 times out of 100, you're not using good enough media.
Maxell DVDs are not made by Maxell... that's all farmed out to 3rd party manufacturers, and I believe they don't make BD discs, either. If the DVD and BD discs are more or less equal quality wise, you'd be well advised to get better product.
I'm sure the people who frequent the Blue-Ray sub-forum will have some useful suggestions as to what to use.
