    DVDFab v12.0.5.7 (Win) FLAC audio

I have a question, why is my flac audio being compressed to ac3 and is it anyway that I can keep flac audio without compressing it to ac3? The audio has been restored and we would like to keep the original format without it being compressed.

DVD and BD do not support FLAC, so it has been converted into AC3.

Is it any way that I could have truehd audio without having to downmix?

DVD does not support truehd audio.
For BD, it should support, but most of the truehd audio in the video files are not standard Blu-ray format, the software will auto-check, otherwise, it should copy the audio.
