It's NOT the video card.
I have the same audio sync issue with this movie AND OTHER MOVIES. This is an OLD ISSUE. If you pause the movie on my standalone Samsung player, the audio gets out of sync once play is resumed. Also, you cannot fast forward, the image freezes. BUT, if I get out of sync, going back to the previous chapter fixes it (it resyncs).
You'd never know I had this issue if I let the movie play from start to finish.
This is an old issue guys, and EASILY re-created.

I kinda think that a video card upgrade will help those that are having problems....I did that when I first started doing blu rays and all my problems disappeared...A good video card is a must..

no burn log
I had a problem with the burn using the VSO since my BD-R disk is smaller (22.6 GB) than 23.3 GB (or whatever the size of a BD-R is supposed to be). I removed the HD audio to get it to fit and burned it in Nero. Thus, I don't have a burn log.
No, it's not a slow computer problem -- mine rips. Others have suggested changing the A/V codec to Software, which I have done (my video card has some h/w codec available which were selected for this rip). I am unable to retry the rip, so I can't say that this would fix the problem.
Just did LOTR-Fellowship with the new settings & ImgBurn. Can't see in the ImgBurn logs anything about PIO. The burn speed is correct (I set this to 4x in DVDFab) & the image size is ~ correct (I set the BD-R SL size to my disk size). There is still a little room on the disk. 38 GB -> 22 GB took me 76 min (from HDD to HDD) at 62% ratio using only the "Software" codecs (vc1 multi-thread). Just tested it & everything looks good, including audio sync.
I'll use these setting from now on. It seems the S/W codec is just as quick as the H/W on my machine (i7-875K at 3.7GHz x 4 cores). All 8 threads were 97% to 100% utilized during the compression. Sign of a good multi-threaded program!

PS Do not compress from your Drive, always compress from HDD this will save wear and tear on your Drive.
Have you also fixed the PIO and burn speed issue you were having in this thread

Huh: 3 separate users with 3 separate disks report the same copy problems and you suggest, "could be a bad disk return for new one?" Thanks for your help.

Have paid subscription to Blu-ray Copy, and get the very same audio lag on INCEPTION. Have been using this software for some time, and this is my first coaster!

I'm having the same exact problem. I'm just using the trial version of Blu-ray Copy and Inception was my first test. Audio is about 3 seconds behind picture on the copy.
I have attached all the logs.
