Glad to hear you're up and running again.

So I take it the fan/dust/over-heating issue was just your primary machine?

Thanks so much, everyone! After hours & hours of trying everything possible it turned out to be a fan - dust - air-flow problem. Made me feel really silly! Thanks again for all your help! You were ever so much more help than tech support.

I would like the see the log from the other machine, I think with the burner going and the HDD and the video card labor intensive the machine is getting too hot!

Actually, it looks like the OP is compressing from the original disc.

    @bcingu813

Please avoid any compressing/converting from the original.
Initially rip to your hdd as BD50.
BD compression/converting is very labor intensive.

    BD50 rips will maximize efficiency....ie.,
reduce any predisposition to errors, avoid the bottleneck associated with compressing from your ODD,
save excessive wear and tear on your ODD and ultimately be quicker, despite the 2-step process.

    Your logs seem incomplete.
As BeemerBike suggested, any Fab error codes?... any windoz errors?

If the BD50 rip does not help, I'd do as SuperFist suggests,
compress/convert with an older, more stable version such as v.8085
Actually, I'd consider doing this regardless.

Have tried all suggestions. Everything works just fine until it starts compression, then they shut down. If I try to copy a bluray that needs no compression it works just fine.

And this is with all DVDFab settings set to Software? If not, try that and report back.

To me it sounds like neither of those computers can encode blu-ray codecs. Have older versions of DVDFab worked and just the latest one doesn't?

Ok, I agree, if it were just 1 computer the PSU would head up our list of "usual suspects", but were talking 2 computers here.
Please give us basic specs of your 2 computers.

Did you ever select the Fab burn engine as 90312 suggested?
If not, would you please change Fab's default burn engine to the Fab burn engine, ie., not VSO, not Img, not Nero.
I know, I know, it seems completely unrelated.

I suppose that maybe your power of PC is not enough for converting.
What's the power of your PC? 300W, 400W...
And also please check the fan and CPU, the PC will shut down if the CPU temperature is too high.

    Hope this help you!

I would bet his power supply is the issue in that it is exhibiting signs of failure. I only mention this because my Corsair TX850 did the exact same thing. I ended up getting a 700W Cooler Master Extreme ATX and I haven't had any problems since.

What does the Event Log show? Is your eHBU212 an external USB3 burner? If USB3 the drivers might need to be updated. I gave up on a mombo that had a USB3 chip as it never worked right. I got a plug-in USB3 adapter and sure enough it had the same damn chip and didnt work any better.

    HTH.

I tried it once before this log with it dis-abled. Same thing happened. I would try it again but, it happened on 2 different computers so I'm really stumped. I've never had any trouble before

Just a shot in the dark here, but Lightning recoding causes more trouble than it's worth.
As to why it may be acting up now...who knows?

I note this is enabled on your second log...is this your usual setting?
Please disable LR and all decoding/encoding software acceleration.

the computer is running fine - I have been using dvd fab on this computer for about a year. This problem started about 3 weeks ago. I've done a system restore back to a time when it was working fine - didn't fix the problem. I even bought a new blu ray drive thinking that might be the problem - nope - I have tried it on a different computer with the same results - ????????????
