Ist off check your spelling as your last message doesn't get your point across. If you followed my directions fab will do everything for you it will then burn the disk also (if you put in a blank 25 gig disk.)You don't hit any buttons to burn disk also the burn should take 20-25 mins not 1.5 hours. It seems i can't help you please go to you tube their you will find step by step videos with a girl showing each step as somewhere your not doing something right.Watching the girl on You tube is like following the bouncing ball and you should be able to get it done correctly sorry i couldn't help you i did try.

yes you did try to help and thank you for that.
The only thing I goofed on the previouse message was the word date should have been data.
I did do everything you instructed step by step, what is crazy is that
I have burned more than a hundred Blu Ray titles without a problem, but can't seem to get a 3D title to work properly.
I do think the burn times on a rewritable discs take longer than on a standard BluRay.
Thanks again

Do you have a youtube link you can give me that explains everything.
This is what I'm doing:
1. insert disc and change "source" to ISO
2. press "main movie"
3. remove all languages subtitles and check "remove HD audio"
4. "start" copy process
5. when process is finished remove original disc and replace with Blu Ray rewitable
6. change "source" to the ISO file that was made above
7. change "target" to the blu ray drive
8. click on "write data" to start processing
Did I do anything wrong in the above steps?

Hi,
For compressing 3D source with "Copy as 3D" option, plesae follow these ways:
1. Please set DVDFab Burning engine manually in Common Settings if you want to compressto to bd25 blank disc directly.
2. You must mount the .miniso file by DVDFab Virtual Drive v1380 or later when playback on PowerDVD or TMT if you target to an folder.
And if you want to burn the folder, you should set DVDFab burning engine in Common Setting and then burn the targeted folder in Write Data.
3. Target to an ISO file, not need to set DVDFab burning manually, DVDFab will switch to DVDFab burning automatically. Then you could burn the bd25 ISO file by ImgBurn or other burning engine.
Your steps is the #3. How about burning the targeted ISO file by ImgBurn?
Hope this help you!
WilsonPlease post your logs the default location is:
For DVDFab 13: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\DVDFab13\Log
For StreamFab: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal log and post right here.
If it's the burning issue, please also attach burn log.
Thanks!

wang,
Thanks for your reply.
I will not be playing any of my rips on my computer, so I'm only interested in backing them up to disc.
Looking at my steps 1 thru 8, do they look correct?
Do I have to create a miniso if I just want to burn directly to disc and not watch on my computer?
I normally do use Image Burn for copying standard Blu Ray, but I read in a previouse post in the forum that Image Burn will not work with 3D burning. Is that an untrue statement, will it work?
I'm not sure what you meant by this:
"Target to an ISO file, not need to set DVDFab burning manually, DVDFab will switch to DVDFab burning automatically. Then you could burn the bd25 ISO file by ImgBurn or other burning engine."
I am able to creat the 3D ISO's with no problem, I just can't get them on my Blu Ray rewritable. The title of the movie appears when you look at the disc drive, but nothing else is on the disc . I however have not tried Image Burn yet for the reasons I stated earlier.

Please make a ISO of the 3d blu ray first step 1 shows you how.
1-in blu ray copy select CLONE insert 3d blu ray store brought disk in blu ray drive.Source will be your blu ray drive, target change to dvdfab iso folder this is a clone folder in dvd fabs files and is where you will look for it later.
Press start this will copy the disk exactly to your hard drive as a iso should take about 50 mins. or so to do when done disk is ejected and you click on finish and close fab.Now in the next step you will make the 3d disk from the Iso(clone) folder in fab you just made.
2-Now open fab blu ray copy click on main movie go into fabs files and find the iso you just made in the clone file folder drag the file into fab.Put a 25 gig disk into blu ray drive.Target is your blu ray drive, source is the file you just dragged into fab. Here you take out anything you don't want but leave the English dts master pre checked file or whatever master audio file is checked. Now below theirs a hd audio box you can check to take out the hd audio only do this if you don't want this soundtrack or to make the file fit on a 25 gig disk without trans coding the movie that's the very long process of reducing the file to fit on a 25 gig disk. Now theirs a box to check on the bottom that says 50 gig and has a pull down box to the right, pull down this box and click on 25 gig fab will do the math if the disk doesn't need to be reduced fab will make a temporary file with the instructions you just gave it after that file is made about 20-30 Min's if the file need no compression it will go right to the burn and burn the temporary folder. If fab needs to reduce the file it can take 13 hours on a dual core computer less for 4 core computers then after if does the compress it does the burn.Their are other ways to do this but this is the easy way.

Since you guys put in so much effort, I felt I at least owed you the respect of a reply after my attempt.
Glen: I followed your last instructions step by step, with nothing left undone. The results were the same as they have been up to now. Everything seems to work without flaw until I get to the burn process. It goes through the 30min burn process (or at least that what it seems to be doing) only to be a blank disc when the burn is finished.
I'm beginning to wonder if the Blu Ray rewiteable disc could be the problem, and that I need to use write once Blu Rays for 3D burns. I have used three different Blu Ray rewritables and have had the same results on all three. Have each of you tried the burn process with Blu Ray rewritables with 3D burns?
I can't thank both of you enough for trying to help get this working for me. Thanks again guys!
I've invested so much time into getting this to work properly I think I'm starting to waive the white flag and just give up. After burning over a hundred 2D Blu Rays over the last four years without a single problem, this has just gotten the better of me.

Go to fab settings the green checked box takes you their, look for dvd/blu ray under WRITE check to make sure blu ray (write speed is recommended) in the box not fastest etc. Then check for the box that says overwrite rewritable media automatically make sure this box is checked as if it's not checked and you have something on the disk already fab will show a dialog box when you insert the blu ray disk that tells you that the disk already has information on it overwrite data? then you must answer fab with ok or fab won't overwrite the disk unless of course you check this box in the settings in the above manner. If you do this and it doesn't do the burn then the disks you are using are defective, dirty, scratched and may have outlived their useful life. Please use a burn once disk they are down to about a buck each now and burn at much faster than 1 or 2 x speeds. Also you can post your burn log to see if theirs burn errors in it.Your burn logs are in fabs log files.

Also under WRITE in fab settings Make sure (dvd fab burning engine) is checked.Just for you I burned a 3d movie to rewritable disk using the fab burning engine and a second way with another program we use called Img burn both gave good results with the 3d movie burned onto a rewritable disk so my thoughts without looking at your burn files say its your rewritable disks.try burning a regular blu ray to them and see if that works use fab to do the burn if that doesn't work then it's the disks or your burning laser is at fault.

Glenn:
1. Recommended is checked
2. I will check the overwrite box (however, Fab has been asking if I want to overwrite and I have been clicking the ok box)
3. I've used these RW about six times for various testing, but the outer layers of them are in mint, no scratches.
4. I did have the Fab burn engine set for the last week while trying to work with 3D. However, I changed it back to Image Burn last night after the first test didn't work with the Fab engine and when the 2nd test went to burn it automatically switched from Image Burn to the Fab burn engine
5. I am going to attempt a brun with a regular burn once blu ray after wk, I'll let you know what happens
6. I am also going to try and burn one of my 2D discs to the RW media I've been using and see if that will wk
7. I also updated to the newest version of fab last night.
Thanks for testing a RW yourself.
I guess you opened the 3D ISO file in IB since it won't do it in DVDfab?
I'll let you know of my results later...

I don't open 3d iso's i just open the folder they are in or drive their on and drag it into the opened fab program.I want you to go into dvdfabs burn files and highlight the last or all the trys you did then cut and paste them into a post here to we all can see whats going on instead of guessing whats wrong.I enclosed a burn log file from my last two burns so you see what it looks like and when a disk is burnt it starts from the inside of the disk and works to the outside so if the disk is damaged on the inside track the disk may not burn. All is revealed in the burn log files even in img burn they both have internal logs so if something goes wrong it will tell you or give you a code that can be figured out by staff here so please post your burn log files please get use to doing this as staff here will always tell you thats what they really need to look at to help you.Why keep guessing when the logs tell all in most cases.here is my last two so you can see what they are like.
