This is a positive note for Blu Ray copy users. My CPU (AMD FX-8150 with abundant heat sink cooling but no liquid cooling) was overheating until I moved from a CUDA 1 GPU (GeForce 210) to CUDA 2 GPU (GeForce GT 440), which resulted in a nearly five times speed increase while compressing a main movie over 23 Gigs in size or a full disc copy. Then to a CUDA 3 Geoforce 650 which added another 30% speed increase. This minimizes the need to turn off cores to prevent the overheating.
