Blu ray copy won't play on xbox one

I copied two blu ray with the latest version of dvdfab but they just won't play on my xbox one and I have no idea why.

if it was lost, then what are movies name ?
Which mode ? fulldisc? main movies ?
Or any other infomation can be used?

We're having trouble reading this.Make sure it is a blu-ray or DVD. If it's a game, lunch from game & apps instead.(0x91d70000)
I don't have the burn code anymore but one play flawlessly on DVDFab media player and the other not so much.

Xbox One Senior Support says BD-Rs are deliberately disabled. The Xbox One will only play "mastered" or official BD movies. Any lack of AACS copy protection will trigger the 0x91d70000 error message onscreen. They confirmed this is a firmware and hardware restriction.

I knew this was going to be the case before the Xbox One even came out. That's why I never even considered buying one!

They are working on this in Beijing. The staff has duplicated the problem on their XBOne with otherwise perfect burned BD-Rs that play on Sony and Panasonic standalone players and with software players on PCs.

Now I could be wrong here, but if its a firmware issue, is that something that can even BE fixed without keeping the AACS coding on the blu-ray? Unless there is someway to tell the Xbox One that there actually is the correct AACS coding on the disc.. I don't know I'll let the experts figure it out.

Don't know if this will work but may be worth a try.Fab can make a protected disk meaning it copy's the disk then puts the copy protection back in.Check the make protected disk box after loading a blu ray in Fab select clone mode and give this a try i don't see any posts in the forum saying if this will work or not.

microsoft did this to try and combat piracy from people copying games
and playing them on modded consoles. nintendo did this with the wii

I thought about this myself, but haven't had the opportunity to test it yet. I'll give it a go and update my findings.

And then I remembered.... can't... I'm in the US. Only way for me to do it is to use a 3rd party app which removes the whole AACS thing from the equation. I need a non US person's help haha.

One thing you can try is is BR to DVD. Everything I've read on the subject says the xbox one will play a -R recordable DVD. I've done these and they look pretty good, not BR quality, but pretty good and it's a backup.

Another idea I had if fab protected disk doesn't work you can make a iso with img burn a free burner program you can get on the internet with all protection on but a warning message will come up saying the disk may not work do you want to make it anyway check yes and try.This will make a disk a different way than fabs protected disk but also may not work just a idea.The mods.90312 idea seems good if you don't mind a non blu ray copy and have that modual or the 30 day trial version still I would try the Fab protected disk first it will work with the Woookao program.

I have AnyDVD so the decoding part isn't an issue, but it removes the AACS protection which is what prevents the XB1 from reading the disc. If the bd-r isn't "mastered", XB1's won't play them. I'll try the imgburn thing, hopefully I won't make an expensive coaster lol.

I would turn Anydvd off and download and install the woookao program then make the protected disk with fab.You don't need anydvd anymore if the woookao program is installed this way the copy protection can be restored by fab using the protected disk.In any case don't have both anydvd on and woookao on at the same time.I was thinking you had a rewritable disk to test this on.The img burn protected disk is a shot in the dark both may not work but there is no one that ever posted the results that I can find so your results may be used by others if it works or not so we know one way or the other as Fab has a searchable data base.
You can't use anydvd to take out the protection as a protected disk has to have a way to put the copy protection back in the Woookao program will work with fab to do this were as anydvd won't.

Their are also 2 different copy protected disks you can make with fab the old way for the old play stations and the new way using clone and putting the copy protection back in these two ways differ slightly so both can be tried if you wanted to test this.I always keep a 50 gig rewritable disk for testing their not that expensive compared making coasters.

I just picked up a 50g rewritable for that exact reason, I'm trying it your way and I'll let you know.

Well... after trying many different combinations, I am still unsuccessful in getting the XB1 to play any burned blu-rays. I've used DVDFab, AnyDVD, Woookao, imgburn, even some other blu-ray burning software, but nothing seems to work. I have successfully been able to save the protected ISO (I believe so anyway), but getting that to translate onto a disc is where I believe I'm stumbling. While the burning to a DVD-r is a viable option, I want to ensure maximum quality of my backups and use all those BD-R's I bought haha.

Here's to hoping a solution is found!!
