Playing backup of Downton Abbey S5 BD, 7 minutes into it, the screen goes black with message Copy Detected (or a rip tool is running if you are trying to watch this movie on your PC). Also the menu seems to be wrong. Had no problems doing backup with 9.185?

Which DVDFab version is used before? Would you please update to the latest version V9185 and try it again?

Could you give us a screenshot if you still get the copy detected message when playing back the result of 9185?

Also, maybe we need you upload some files to us if the issue is reproduced in 9185.

Dvd 9.1.4.5 & 9.1.8.5

Blue-ray back up copy for Downton Abbey Series 5, disc 1 will not rip correctly. Three episodes are included on disc 1, the rip has the order out of sequence.

This doesn't necessarily mean that Fab is ripping it in the wrong order.
Some multi-episode titles are recorded in a non-specific order and the main menu determines what is played in what order. Has to do with grouping video and audio files on the disc if I remember reading correctly previously.
Another example of this is Band of Brothers. All discs rip with episodes in non-linear orders

When selecting from the menu: Episode1, Segment 1 it plays Episode3, segment 1. I did not check every segment against the master once I discovered the random order issue.

Ok now I understand what you are experiencing.
Unfortunately I haven't come across that before so I'm not much help.
Sounds like the disc files are incorrectly labelled.

Here are the logs fie from DVDfab 9185, and a picture of media player with text message and you can see how the chapters are incorrect in media player, I selected part one and part three played. Blue-ray 3 disc set from Amazon.

Seems to be working, playing in correct order and no message. When try to compress with 9187 it stopped at 1% and went no further. See that 9188 is out will try that. Media player worked but was showing titles erroneously.
