Harry Potter years 1 and 2 Ultimate Editions

The discs backup, however when trying to use the in movie experience, which is a PIP special feature I get a black screen and it will not play. I notice when I have the actual disc in the drive when I start that special feature it pauses for a split second and a golden snitch screensaver/progress thing shows up for a couple seconds, and on the backup that does not happen, it goes directly to a paused black screen and will not play.

All the other BDs I have backed up with PiP features worked fine, PiP and all, but with these 2 BluRays it is not working, any advice or hints would be helpful...for reference I have tried different settings for pathplayer and changed the different search parameters in that same section. I tried ripping it 5x now. Same result, even with(Read the General Policies)which I also own.

Well to start Pathplayer is not used for Blu-ray movies so changing that will not help for anything. In common settings make sure that under DVD/Blu-ray-Read you have Internal selected for the File reading Mode. Now under protection-Blu-ray do you have Remove BD-Live selected and Remove UOPs (User Operation Prohibitions) selected if you to then try with them not selected. If you are burning to BD use a BD-RE (rewritable) so you not use up too many blanks or just save to computer and veiw using that

I am not burning yet. I have tried with UOPs and BDLive both on and off.

I was mistaken, thankyou. With BDLive left intact the PiP works on the backup, It seems I only messed with UOPs previously...again Thankyou for your advice

The only issue now is, when I backup with BDlive intact, DVDfab does not allow me to remove the region code...so if I leave BDlive, I must also leave region code intact...is that right? Seems not a good thing.

edit: I see that(Read the General Policies) is the same way, must have region to keep BDlive intact...is there no way around this, I travel and don't like bringing a bunch of equipment with me.

edit 2 : I see now that all the Harry Potter movies are region free anyway as are most blurays from region A

You can always make a Feature request to remove region code when keeping BDLive
