The Exorcist Director's cut sound(dialogue) out of sync

Just wasted another blu ray backing up the new Exorcist Director's Cut. The sound (dialogue) is about 5 seconds behind the film. Tried using Imgburn and then the VSO engine. Both failed. The orginal is fine .Help

Hi Johnpayd,

Please try using Full Disc to copy original Blu-ray movie to HDD without compression firstly, check if you get the a/v sync issue, if not, then burn the blu-ray files to blank disc to see the result.

When you copy/burn DVDs, please disable all the other background tasks in your windows task manager. Multitasking is therefore a pain while you copy or burn.

The Exorcist Director's cut sound(dialogue) still out of sync

I did what you said and it did the same thing again. The dialogue is about 5 seconds delayed. I am trying one more time using version7. The log said everything was successful. The other version of The Exorcist burned successf\ully with no audio problems. Is this the version 8? I have not been able to burn Iron Man 2 or Robin Hood either.

Please try to install DVDFab 8.0.2.4 Beta at

to copy your Iron Man 2 and Robin Hood. You'd better just copy to HDD to check the a/v sync issue, which will avoid to waste more blank discs.

If you just have the a/v sync issue with this particular DVD "The Exorcist", please specify the a)full title, b)region code, c) country, d) release date and e)the type (HD/Blu-Ray or regular DVD)of the disc. Then we will test it to check where the problem is. Thanks.

The title: The Exorcist Extended Director's Cut, Region 1, USA, Blu Ray. It's a 2 disc edition just released last week

I have the sound issues as well. I was able to finally rip Robin Hood to WMV xbox profile with CUDA support. That part worked great and took about 3 hours. However the sound lost sync and was on the wrong channels.
