I had no trouble with the region 1 about a month ago when it was released.

The Rite is not a problem for Fab.

Clean your disc not matter how clean it looks.
Is the disc scratched?
Check the disc for errors.

Brand new, no scratches or dirt on it. Cleaned it just in case. Used xxx xxxxx and had no problems but DVDFAB does not seem to like it..

I was able to get a good back-up using the current version when this was released a few weeks ago. It may have been ver. 8.0.8.0

had no problem with "RITE", v8098Qt, Windows XP SP3, did wonderful job! I only do "MAIN MOVIE", only!
