DVD Copy - Main Movie:

Just bought "The Dictator (2012, Sasha Cohen)"... Using 2.0.0.

Recognizes the disk, says "opening source"... But in the field where it normally lists the chapters, only 1 chapter is coming up as follows:

Title = 2
Play Time = 0:07
Chapter = 1
Aspect Ratio = 4:3
Format = MPEG2

Nothing else is appearing... ?

Must be some new protection, that info you posted looks like part of the menu system. Please let DVDFab analyze the disc, then click on the checkmark in the small green circle and click the button that says "Send Info files". This will send the IFO files to the developers. Put a link to this thread in the text input box at the bottom of the form.

Just for the record, discussing copying rental discs does not get you banned, since there are legal ways to obtain them. It may get a post edited or deleted.

I used the new beta version for the Hunger Games protection and this didn't do anything with the protection on The Dictator. It loaded for me without pathplayer and it said 37gb/8100mb, but I was unable to rip it.

I have ordered this but don't have the disc yet.

Make sure PathPlayer is in the "Always Enable" mode. If it says it is 37GB, there is some fake
content that is not being removed.

Disabling path player will select the wrong movie version. Check movie only and you will see many copies of the movie with the chapters in the wrong place. The movie in my dvd player stops after 123:11. There are about 20 copies that run 123.13 and 1 copy that runs 123:09. The trick is to select the one with the chapters in the correct order.

I disable path player and select chapter 59 and also 88, 86, 97, 89 (Those are warnings and paramount logo ) Canadian version, must be the same for U.S

This movie has a new protection, please try to send the IFO files

Play the dvd in a regular dvd player and press info, you will see which chapter it's start for the main movie. Mine was 59, I chose this chapter and then check if everything played well and yes the movie is all there. :D

Whish I can send you the IFO files but I'm not home, maybe someone can do this, if not I will in about 3 hours
