Few more questions and I think I will hopefully be good:
- Does clone mode retain the copy protection on the disc?
- If you use Full Disc mode, and do not check anything under Removing or Navigation, but check everything available under Copying, do you essentially end up with a clone, but with no copy protection and non-preserved layer break position
- In terms of the layer break position possibly being different in Full Disc and Clone, is the actual output result just where in the playback the disc freezes for a section while the DVD player laser reads and processes the layer change?
Ideally, I'd like to make as close to a clone as possible and output to ISO, but remove certain elements that are non-useful, such as warnings and DVD-ROM/computer features, but without loosing any possible actual movie related content and movie related special features on the disc. Based on reading the manual, the recommendation here seems to be the following setup:
-Enable PathPlayer
-Full Disc Mode
-Check copy DVD-Video
-Check copy DVD-Audio (if applicable)
-DO NOT check copy Non-DVD Files
-DO NOT check anything under removing
-DVD Playback order option is optional
-Check remove annoying PGC's
Is this the correction combo to achieve my goal? And most importantly, does this combination risk the process loosing actual DVD player capable content? If it matters (I think it does), all of the discs in question are regular DVD's. Most of these discs are years and years old, but there is some newer stuff like recent Disney DVD releases.
