DVD Ripper No subtitles for Last Samurai / Pathfinder

    Hi,

I have tried to rip both Last Samurai and Pathfinder numerous times and I cannot get the subtitles to work, forced or otherwise.I have tried every configuration I can think of to get the subtitles to work...no joy. A subtitles file is created when they are ripped, however when they are selected while playing the file, irrespective of which subtitle track is selected, nothing shows. I have included the latest log I have from Last Samurai below. I am using v8050.

If I were you, I would go here:

and choose/download and extract one of the 30 subtitle files available in English for that particular movie. Just a thought(it's been working out for me so far). Regards.

DVDFab 8.0.5.0 was released November 18, 2010 and a lot of fixes have been done since that release so if you are going to want help from DVDFab staff or forum staff I would have to say update to latest release DVDFab 8.0.6.6

If same problem then post the log file again and someone will surely try and help

        To LoveDVDFab,

Thank you for your kind suggestion. I will try that.

        To AGJ,

As per your suggestion, I did try to download and install v8066, however, my computer brings up a message saying the source file is corrupt and refuses to continue with the installation.

I originally had v8056, as a result of which, none of the dvd's I ripped had any sound, among other things. Thanks to a kind suggestion from a member, I downloaded v8050, which has worked perfectly with the exceptions of Last Samurai and Pathfinder.
