DVD Ripper [8076] mkv.h264.ac3 and mt2s.ac3.xxx audio not in correct channels

I've experienced this same issue in both beta builds 8075 and 8076, I couldn't even rip subtitles correctly with the current released version so I never even tried until these betas were available. When I rip at either of the above project specs, and seemingly at any video/audio bitrate, the audio is in the incorrect channels. It seems that the center channel is in the left rear and there is absolutely nothing in the right rear, and the front L/R sound like they should be the rear L/R.

I also notice that the .mkv when played back is zoomed out to fill the display aspect ratio, which obviously results in loss of the subtitle text and stretching of the picture. With identical settings, the .mt2s file plays back in the correct aspect ratio.

    System is as follows:
    Samsung SH-L123R DVD Drive
AMD Radeon HD 6850 video card (ripping with DXVA)
    Enable Lightening-Recording is enabled

Has anyone experienced this, or have any advice that I might try? Here is a screen shot of the settings that have the audio issue.

    Thank you,

    Matt

Here's the internal log for the 8076 tasks, the video looks great, the subtitles work great, just the dang audio now.

        Hi mjrtoo
Please Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, set Video Decoder to Software and set Video Encoder to Software restart Fab and try again.

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Just tried that, and same result.

Another thing I notice is that when I tried to use the profile m2ts.audiocopy.fast that the resulting file was named filename.h264.mp3.m2ts. When I tried to play that back with my WD Live HD player the audio track reported as DTSMA but there is no audio heard. I thought that maybe the WD player just didn't like DTSMA, but I did a full m2ts.passthrough and everything with that file, while massive, works fine. I'm able to hear all audio streams in DTSMA, and also change to any subtitle language available.

              hi,

              Thanks report the two problem:

              1. mkv.h264.ac3 and mt2s.ac3.xxx audio not in correct channels

              2. m2ts.audiocopy.fast that the resulting file was named filename.h264.mp3.m2ts.

and DTSMA not be known by WD Live.

              We will check this problem.
