Ripping a bluray takes a long time; I don't care how fast your computer is; it's slow. This is no fault of DVDFab, of course - it's a huge amount of data. But it makes it tedious experiment with settings.
Check out the [removed] screenshot below. Specifically, look at the part I circled in red. It allows me to specify a startpoint and endpoint for video conversion. Therefore, if I want to experiment with settings, I can choose to convert 10 seconds of video, rather than the entire input video. As a result, the conversion is finished in well under a minute, rather than the hour(s) it takes to rip a whole bluray video.
It would be wonderful if, when ripping blu-ray (to M2TS, for example), I could specify "Title 1, seconds 1214-1224." Yes, I know I can limit the rip to a specific chapter, but the additional control would be welcome.
