BD Ripper (3D Plus) Won't rip some blu-ray titles

I wish to backup my Blu-Ray movies to mkv, but the ripper won't work for some of the titles (I have the full version of blu-ray ripper). It starts just fine, but then stops at 0.14 % for one title, and 0.17 % for another. I've tried other titles in between, and those works just fine.

I've tried to use the blu-ray copy (main movie) to the hdd, and then rip from this copy. The same thing happens - stops at the same place. I left the one that stopped on 0.14 % for a few hours, but nothing more happened. There is no problem with playback from the disc.

    What could be the problem?

[Editor's Note: Post the DVDFab internal log. Also, try the new Beta, v8.1.8.7]

Please try DVDFab v8187 beta to see the result:

Also, please post dvdfab_internal.log if it still has problem.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I tried installing the beta, but haven't been able to test it. A problem which has been present for some time has worsened after installing the beta. When I start DVDfab, the blu-ray drive disappears. It works just fine after restarting the computer, I can play the movie etc. But when I start dvd-fab the drive disappears after a few seconds. I cannot find it in explorer, device manager etc. I tried "microsoft fix it", and most of the time it restores the drive (although it does not identify that a disc is present). In the report from "Fix it" it says that the drive "(...) was missing or disconnected".
When I then go to dvd fab and click on choose source, the drive disappears again.

It seems that this problem is only linked to dvdfab, as the drive works fine after I restart the computer (as long as I don't start dvdfab).

Also, this problem worsened after I bought the full version of dvd-fab (although that's probably coincidental).

      What might be wrong?
And how do I find DVDfabs internal log?

The log location varies with the version and setup of windows on your PC. The internal log file name is "dvdfab_internal.log", just use windows search in explorer to find it. You can open it with Notepad. The most recent entries will be at the end of the file.

Other software may be interfering with DVDFab's access to the drive. Also, try disabling autoplay in windows control panel. DVDFab should find the drive and open the disc without any intervention from the user. Make sure you are installing and running DVDFab As Administrator.

The disc drive had to be changed, so it works now. Although the problem in regard to ripping still persists (stops at 0.10% now). I've included information from the logfile below:

I have this problem when trying to rip to M4V, but something I noticed is that the movie will rip just fine but without the subpictures on long movies, over 2 hours. And for Dances with Wolves, a 4.5 hour movie the process fails all together.
