As the title says some of the movies I try to rip with Dvd ripper to mkv won't work but Avi will.
I always rip the full movie to hard drive before ripping to Mkv or Avi to ensure there are no problems with the disc.
The encoding Fps on the progress bar goes from around 125 Fps when it works right then goes to almost nothing when it doesn't work right.
I would rather use Mkv if I can get them to work. Mkv seems a little better picture quality and better-smoother fast forward and rewind on my device. The picture does not go blank for a sec or two when fast forwarding and rewinding a Avi.
Any ideas why some movies wlll not rip to Mkv?
