Just installed the new version 9 - bit of a dissapointment - too many clicks to change things
However, one major problem, the custom profiles do not save settings. For example - using the ipad profile, want to add a new resolution size and make sure that subtitles are direct render to video. Save the profile as a new name.
The next time I load DVD Fab 9 and select the custom profile only the resolution has been saved - the subtitles has defaulted back to export.
That said, when you try and run the custom profile you just get an error - why?
I realise that the ipad can display 1024x578, but when you are going from a DVD it is only 720 and the last thing you really want is to upscale.
Version 8 of DVD Fab gave you a whole list of resolutions to choose from, one being 720 - why have these all been removed from version 9.
In MHO version 9 is a GUI step backwards - not very intuitive - too many clicking around to get the screens you need, and too many tabs to click through to change settings. Bad FAB, very Bad.
