spectre blu ray subtitle problem

Anyone else have a problem with spectre subtitles? I select first title, first sub forced only. I check the preview and its shows subtitles. But in the final mp4 rip it doesn't have the subs. I had a similar problem with star wars.

My workaround has been to use mkv to rip and dvdfab to compress to mp4.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled dvdfab, nothing changed.

One of you please attach the dvdfab_internal log session from Spectre. Also, what are the time marks where the translation subs first appear?

Never mind, I found them. They are in the bottom English stream. If using Ripper, you should select this stream only, then it will not matter if you select Display Only Forced or not, although they do appear to be forced. (This is from the Region A (US) Blu-ray).

DVDFAB Internal Log uploaded. This is a burn of SPECTRE with only the bottom English stream selected in the interface. No subtitles in the resulting file.

Mine works perfectly, using either Direct Render or Remux into file. What is the Region and country of your disc? We seem to have different versions. Your log says Fab found them. If you did not select Direct Render to Video, it is possibly a sub playback issue in your player. I tested with VLC and DVDFab Media Player. The Direct Render subs look better, looks like some work to do on the remuxed ones, but it should work.

Same issue DVD

I am having the same issue with the DVD. I have ripped the entire disc to my hard drive. The subtitles show up when watching the ripped disc but not on a mp4 file or in the preview.

STF and others:
The translation subs for the English version of Spectre are in the second English sub stream, by themselves. Note that they are poorly rendered and hard to read, even on the original disc with a licensed player (PowerDVD15). For output that matches the theatrical display, select only the second stream and then choose Direct Render to Video on the Advanced Settings page. It is not necessary to select Display Only Forced, since there is nothing else in the steam but the 74 translation subs.

I just tried the DVD and can't get the subs to work in PowerDVD15 but they work fine in DVDFab Media player? mp4 subs remuxed.
