DVD Ripper [Solved] Hangup on 1% of specific episode of a T.V. series.

Hey DVDFab,

I was ripping a DVD edition of an old WB cartoon called Road Rovers to MKV and DVDFab hangs on episode 04 "Title 6" on disk 1 for some reason. I can do a full 1:1 ISO just fine however. The DVD is undamaged and I'm able to play though that episode without any skips or freezes. Every other episode across the 2 disks ripped to MKV without any issues.

try clicking common settings - dvd - pathplayer - disable pathplayer
restart dvdfab and retry the disc again.

Went ahead and attempted that but still just hangs up and forces a close through task manager. I even tried tricking it by selecting just the chapters for episode 4 in the "Play All" title but it still hangs up. I can clone the disk as an ISO and play it back fine in players that support it however. Just something about it that DVDFab doesn't like for converting that particular episodeto MKV.

Apologies for the delayed reply. I reattempted the rip of that one particular episode again today (2021/02/14 in the log) with the same results. It hangs up at 1%, spins the disk like it has started reading but it quickly stops. If I try to cancel the operation it just gets stuck on canceling.

If still have the same problem, we will need the movie iso file as a source to help check it out.

Hey Mona, I appreciate the response.

I only have one audio track to select for ripping and DVDFab wont allow me to uncheck it with no other tracks available. I took your advice from another thread and deleted my log so I can upload the full file. I reattempted once more with the same results and the attached log file should just be from this one session. I am able to rip an ISO with no issues and can provide it to you.

I had tried disabling Pathplayer at a previous poster's advice, however, I reattempted once more with Pathplayer disabled at your direction and it still produces the same results. I also tried ripping from the ISO clone and have the same issue. I can however hit the preview button for "Title 6" and DVDFab is able to play it regardless of Pathplayer enabled/disabled.

Just a quick update having tried again on 12.0.2.0 this issue is still present.
