Rip DVD's with subpicture toggled on/off during playback?
I am ripping some of my kids movies to MKV (for streaming to PS3) and the new version of DVDFab is working nicely. One thing I noticed is that the rips were done with the subpicture enabled but when I play the movie, I cant toggle the subtitles off via the PS3 subtitle menu. Am I ripping the move wrong or is possible that MKV doesnt allow subtitiles to be toggled on and off.
If anyone has any recommendations on the best format to rip the movies to, I'd take any suggestions. Size isnt a problem but it has to be able to stream to the PS3 and the Xbox 360. My kid has a hearing problem so the ability to toggle the subtiles on and off as needed would be a great benefit.
