This Blu-Ray Disc Will Play Back On Region B Players Only ???

    Hi,

I'm on latest version (1.0.3.5) trying to playback Four Lions (but I had the same problem last week with Sightseers) and if I try and use Full Navigation Mode I see the error "This Blu-Ray Disc Will Play Back On Region B Players Only".

I'm not sure what region my player is (Samsung SH-B123L) I don't actually recall ever setting a region, but I have been able to play other discs a while ago.

I have configured the software to the correct Region Code in the options, and this is a Region B disc.

Switching to Quick And Simple Mode allows me to play the disc, but I would prefer to go through the proper menu.

Anyone got any ideas, how can I tell what region my player is, it's not in the same place as the DVD region setting ?

    I'm using Win XP SP3.

Have you tried setting the region in the player?

You mean my Blu-Ray player ?

I'm not sure how to do that, unlike DVD I don't recall ever being asked to set a region ?

        Control panel/system/device manager/CD Drives/properies/region tab.

Set it to the region you are in, then set DVDFab Media player to the region of the BR you want to watch:

Thanks, I already looked there - it tells me that the DVD regions is set to 2, but there is nothing about the Blu-Ray region.

I have already setup the region in the software player as you suggest.

Ok thanks anyway, annoyingly it looks like I'm stuck with simple mode.

Do you know if the developers look at these forums ?

                  Still got region problems

Well I still have this problem, I'm on v2.2.0.0, got the region set to B in the player - still get message that it cannot be played because of the region.

This disc is definitely region B, it's printed on the disc.

I won't be renewing this in a few months if I don't get some help.

                    Still got region problems

Well well, just noticed the new beta 2.2.2.0 alludes to have fixed this, and I just checked it has.

                    Thanks

                      DVDFab 2.2.3.0 Beta.
Just tried to play one of my disc.
DVDFab Media Player continue incorrectly define Region setting... It write that Region A is set in Player but Region C is really set there.
