I had not had occasion to use this feature until I got my new dash cam. It records in 5 minute segments in MPEG-2.TS format. Not handy! I loaded 3 into the converter queue and hit merge and got one seamless MP4 file! So I tried merging an MP4 with an MKV, seamless and perfect! A powerful feature I'll be using in the future.
