I added an .srt subtitle file to a video file (both in the time line) to edit both together. This is a TV show ad I am editing out the commercials.
Editing both worked fine but since I don't want the subtitle burned in, I need to export the edited subtitle separately.
When I select to export the subtitle, a message appears saying that no subtitle is found. Obviously there is a subtitle because the words appeared on screen AND it shows the subtitle added on the timeline.
Is this not possible to do?
Why are we stuck with burned in subtitles that can't be turned on and off?
