DVDFab Videro Converter Licensing Issue

I am a longtime DVDFab lifetime user and have used the Video Converter function for years. Recently I decided to try out the UniFab product. It is an interesting product but right now it takes longer than I would like for a number of functions so I deinstalled it. After removing it I went back to use the Video Converter function in DVDFab and it shows that I don't own it any longer and shows Full Trial vs. Activated and Never Expires.

Similar problem here, but I haven't tried any new products. I am just having major problems trying to get bugs fixed in Video Converter, and the techs stupidly told me to uninstall and reinstall DVDFab for the hundredth time, and now Video Converter and Enlarger AI both show as trial versions on this computer (still Activated on other computers so far).

But that reinstall was on Monday, and the license was fine yesterday. Only went to trial version today?!?!?

I have had my DVDFab Lifetime license for over 10 years, and Video Converter still shows up on the support page as "Never Expire".

Same, when I check on the website the license is there. I have try with deauthorize and authorization, same.
Maybe the Server have a Problem.

I have the same problem and haven't installed or uninstalled anything. I also tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing, so I think it's a server issues. I also see that I am licensed for it on the portal, but the product shows as trial mode. I sent in a ticket before seeing this thread.

Update - I said that Video Converter still showed as Activated on some of my computers, but that turns out to be only on a computer where DVDFab was still running from yesterday. It seems that as soon as DVDFab is restarted today, they take the license away!

Same story here. For the record, I have uninstalled the program, deleted user data and registry keys, rebooted and reinstalled. Nothing works. I also have submitted a ticket. My guess is that this has affected a lot of users.

Note that the program still shows me as licensed and my computer is authorized. But the DVDFab converter shows free trial.

@Mona please fix you authentification server. I not want look for a crack to fix it.

Add me to this list excpt I don't use UNIFAB...only DVDFab and StreamFab. I've been using DVDFab for years and even purchased a "Lifetime" license in 2019. I rebooted my system this morning, opened DVDFab to convert a few videos and was greeted with the message I was using a "Trial Version". I re-authorized the product but still had the same message. Thinking I would have to restart the product for it to take affect and when I restarted it presented me with the screen listing all available product which showed the products activated for me but required me to re-authorize it again. I did. Nothing has changed...it still tells me I'm using the Trial version and am limited to converting only 3 of the 4 videos I'm wanting to convert. So I'm not sure how it all of a sudden determined it was a "trial version" since I hadn't updated the product since the last update was released (12.1.1.5).

I tried to degrade to older DVDFab and then reAuthorise. It's fine on DVDFab Web page whereas Licensing looks good.

But it did not remove the problem in DVDFab.
I'm still on Trial for "Converter" and "Enlarger AI".

I have the same authorization issues with the Video Converter AND the Enlarger AI!

Let me add my tuppence worth. Just updated to 12.1.1.5 and now my perpetual licence has only 3 trial conversions available even after authorizing. I would definitely appreciate a prompt fix on this as I have downloaded a good number of .avi files that I need to convert to .mp4.

An additional comment: The list products that appears when DVDFab starts up does not show the Converter. The Rippers are there, along with a swag of others, but no Converter! It shows what I am licensed for, and other products I can buy a licence for, but the Converter is not in the list. I hope this helps those who are to sort out/are sorting out this problem.

It seems clear that this is a server authentication issue. There are not doing anything about it, which means it has not gotten their attention. Everyone should post tickets requesting that this be fixed ASAP.

(Also it means they don't read this forum).

I'm converting just now, but should be able to restart DVDFab in about 45min. Will let you know how I go, then.

Update: My 2nd installation of DVDFab finished a lot quicker than I thought it would. I have just restarted it and all is OK - no dire warnings, it just works as before.
Thanks for fixing that issue.

BTW: I take it that the child is yours, Wilson - cute kid!
