Not gonna happen, sorry
Were still waiting on them to fix HBO. To these people, 720p is acceptable Even 460p is acceptable (see: Apple TV)
In the case of D+ and Hulu, this is a limitation on the side of the provider. As long as Streamfab uses 'download', quality will never increase unless Hulu and Disney upgrade on their end.

Some things are better alternate downloaded from other places like torrent or file hosts, because the scene rippers have better options also in getting shows in UHD.
They have absolutely no problems ripping from Amazon Prime, Disney+ or Paramount+ in UHD.
But obviously the people behind StreamFab don't want to look in to those methods, which makes it possible to download from every streaming service in up to UHD.
But in my honnest openion, StreamFab has become too big on the support of various streaming services and could use a severe downsizing.
You can see it every time some change/fix is done to some streaming services, there functionality is lost in others.
Its a constant back and forth in fixing errors, which could be solved in removing a lot of those that has been added within the last year or so.
They could start out with all those who only has a very low video quality any way.Last edited by Per K; 06-11-2022, 09:04 PM.

Remember, those "scene rippers" and others of that type only have to get it right once. They crack it and off to the world it goes. They don't have to worry about changes in DRM because their product is out there and can be available on torrent and file hosting sites for years to come. They can put out their finished product in any way they want. If they don't want to include subtitles in Swahili, they don't have to. SF can't get away with that, they have to provide for everyone in the world's native language. And they have to do it on the fly.
SF is constantly doing battle against the streaming services and to be honest, their customers. Day after day I see the same posters here reporting problems, most of which no one else is having. And do you think they will give a good description of the problem or even a copy of their logs? No. SF has to take time to track it down anyway, even if it is obvious that it is the user's computer system or their lack of knowledge that is causing the problem. Yet you never see Mona and Support be rude or condescending.
I do not agree with you about downsizing. It isn't like they only have one programmer on staff and he/she has his/her priorities mixed up. Besides, with few exceptions, most of the newer streaming services that have been added aren't even DRM protected. The dirty little secret is they could be gotten by using the 100+ free generic "YouTube downloader" programs that are everywhere. SF doesn't really need to devote their top engineers and a great of time to fixing those services.
Should SF be setting their highest priority to fixing the problems on the big name DRM protected services? Absolutely! But that doesn't mean that they aren't already doing that and they just haven't succeeded yet. You don't think SF wouldn't love to advertise that they allow you to download from all the services as UHD and get any subtitles you want? Do you think Mona likes hearing about 480p downloads? If they were a "fly-by-night" company they probably wouldn't care. They'd make some money and disappear (or rename their product and make you pay for it again.) DVDFab has been around for about 20 years and it looks to me that they want to be around for at least another 20.

Cats4U...you brought up some very good strong points that knowing but never cared to put into a post of words. Would like to add that almost every product that DVDfab puts out (by the way it's not DVDfab, it's Fengtao Software, Inc) they try to appease the masses in requests to make the product better as per what people/the customer wants and post to what they think will make the product more better on this board.
Like you said they cannot please everybody across the board, but they try, and it looks bad because they do when they don't.
There are other means of downloading a movie or TV shows at 720p and getting it to output at 1920 x 1080p @ 12 bits, and I'm not talking about the so-called competition...it's being done. (it's the 480p that sucks but it is what it grabs and I have tried different programs/apps and it's the same grab)
I remember back in the day switching using DVDfab (DVDCopy) copy movies to DVD and it was in 2003, so not quite 20 years yet.
