- For other services, most of videos can be downloaded as usual, only the newly-released ones will switch to the new re-encoding mode. (The audio quality is down to AAC in this mode, and the download speed will also be slightly affected but the video quality remains almost close to the original.)

Downloaded Emancipation Apple+ using 6.0.0.7 with "re-encode" mode.

Apple+ is *still* 360p and audio quality is AAC at 32.4 kb/s - 2 channel

Re-encoding is *very slow* - monitoring with NetLimiter is shows 7b/s...

Thanks Mike on posting this......I have been on the fence about getting Apple TV because of the 360-480p downloads. 7 days plus an additional two months, going to give it a try now. Plus, I did want to watch Emancipation, it's not going to be anywhere but on AppleTV, Will is making a good gesture on this. Noticed you mentioned the slow re-encoding, so will start the downloads before hitting the sack.
