    Hi both, we are unable to duplicate the playback problem, the developer wanted to remote your PC to check the problem, if you agree, please check the forum PM for more info. Thanks.

    EDITED:

    The developer provided a test version, please download and give it a try and then feedback with the latest log file, thanks again.

      Test version above (which came up as 6128) didn't work, stuck at the "Something went wrong" screen. Awaiting Team Viewer connection

        Good job MAX is working now with version 6.1.3.0, at least partially. Not getting FHD, instead the light version 720p but HEVC h265 HDR10 is supported yet.

        Thank you though for getting this back up again reasonably quick.

          Sigh. Unfortunately, 6130 did not fix the Max downloader for me. Still getting the “Something went wrong” screen followed after a while by downloading an unplayable file.

            Hi,the developer asked if you have deleted the caches before you tried?
            %HOMEPATH%/Documents/DVDFab/StreamFab/Temp

              I did. Same outcome,except now the downloaded files show a black blank screen and there is periodic audio that sounds like a hammer being loudly struck.
              I do appreciate your efforts.

                  Why don't you release your beta test versions publicly so that more people can test it, as your competition does? I'm sure that cyberdave03 will give it a good going over but he is just one person. If by bad luck he determines that the beta is no good when it is actually good then the developer has to try to go back and try to fix something that is not broken. Conversely, if he says it is good and in fact it isn't, I guarantee it will be released on the next Friday without the developer ever looking at it again as it has been clear for a long time that updates are never thoroughly tested by the developer. I wish I had a dollar, Mona, for every time that you told someone to try the new or upcoming update that is supposed to fix their problem and they come back and say it doesn't work. The more input on whether a problem is fixed or not, the better.
                  The other thing is that beta updates should be released as the problems are supposedly fixed, again, like the competition. That way, if, again if, the problem is fixed with the beta then your customer doesn't have to wait a whole week for an update to be released and have their problem solved. The developer could make multiple attempts in the week at fixing a problem, if need to, rather than a once a week attempt.

                    @Mona

                    The link is giving me an “access denied” error with two different browsers.

                      According to the update on the Ticket, it's OK already. So this thread is closed.
                      If needed, please start a new one per your need.
                      Thanks for your time and support.
