1920x800, so I think that's "normal"; FHD for a title that's wider than 16:9. I think it's always said 1080p for that.

It's still considered 1080p. The aspect ratio of the series is actually 2.40:1 rather than 16:9. Add in the black bars top and bottom and you've got 1920x1080. That's a filmmaker's decision.
