    6.1.7.9 Another new downloader?? Really?!?!?!

    DVDFab Staff Wilson.Wang

There are lingering bugs in StreamFab, there is DRM being circumvented by re-encoding for Amazon/Netflix/Peacock, along with a host of other issues with StreamFab.

Adding a new downloader like WOWOW without fixing this outstanding stuff is just a smack in the face, total disrespect for your existing customer base.

If you are trying to kill this software and prevent users from renewing their subscriptions, or new people from purchasing StreamFab, and push people away from FAB products all together, then you're doing a good job.

But if you really care about your existing customers, keeping them, and growing your customer base, then you better start focusing on the DRM issues for Amazon, Netflix and Peacock, and start fixing all the little bugs people have been reporting!! And FAST!!!

That's also what I thought when I read the changelog... extremely disappointing indeed.
I have the first week of testing the competitor done, and so far I am very pleased - maybe not quiet as many download options but direct download works very well.
If by the end of the evaluation phase SF doesn't have the direct downlod for Amazon sorted or at least presents some serious mile stone, I will sign up for the competitor.

They should take this product off the market if they had any sense, it's ruining the reputation of all the other Fab products. Fab could spend a little less on false advertising and a little more on development and fixing issues.

Previously, they said they would fix the DRM MPD Downloader before May 31st, but I just tested 6179 and it still hasn't been fixed, so I think what the official said is all lies. When I asked them how long it will take and if it will take another four months, they said they don't know, haha!

I would suspect the person that made the extra module is not part of the people that are working on the DRM issue. Apples and Oranges.

I would suspect that they don't even try to fix all the broken stuff because it's easier to add porn and small services (that don't work, mind you) to their list of "supported streaming services".

If StreamFab put up a list of really supported streaming services that actually work, it would be a very short list and it wouldn't be worth $5.
Instead, I would suspect they keep all the big names on the list, so they can still charge $***.
