    GPU Performance?

Based on how Unifab uses NVenc, etc. IS VRAM the most important factor? Would one be better off with a 12GB card for Unifab vs. an 8GB card even if the 8GB card is faster? Put another way, is it more about VRAM or processing speed?

    Hi, LazerTag44

I’m sorry for not being able to provide a specific answer to your question. First of all, we recommend using a graphics card with 6GB VRAM or more. Generally, a better-performing graphics card will result in faster conversion speeds. Additionally, higher performance graphics cards tend to have larger VRAM. We haven’t conducted a direct comparison on which factor, VRAM or performance, has a greater impact on conversion speed.

The above has nothing to do with the transcoding speed. You have to use the nvenc.dll, which controls the encoding.
