Where is the passthrough with this new converter? All this does is convert everything by re-encoding it appears. I need a passthrough option to change form mkv to mp4 etc.

Please check the profile selection panel and choose the Same As Source one. -
Mona, the problem with using the Same as Source profile is that in this flawed product, it does NOT use the Same as Source for video quality! It SHOULD (that is what Passthrough does in Ripper), but it does not.
And even worse than that, the default Bit Rates that this thing uses are totally screwed up, as I have reported in other threads (which have been completely ignored).Comment

The option you showed does not do passthrough it actually re-encodes the video. For example simply want to take a video I have that is a mkv and change it to a mp4 no re-encoding. If I do this process in DVDFab I get the same size output file in mp4 format as the original mkv. If I do this in unifab the original mkv file is 940mb the outputted mp4 file is 1.5gb. It also uses a lot of my cpu or gpu which it doesn't do in DVDFab because it's not converting anything just changing containers mkv to mp4. But Unifab is doing re-encoding so it uses GPU/CPU.Comment
