Comparing Ripper with Converter and Compressor - What a MESS!

Since the vendor has refused to provide any information on the use of the UniFab Converter/Compressor products, I have continued my testing to try to ferret out the information or find the horrible bugs in the software.

In an effort to do a valid side-by-side comparison, I started with an .iso copy of the Naked Space DVD. With DVDFab 13.0.0.4, I first used Ripper to do a MKV.Passthrough copy of the movie for input to the Converter and Compressor modules. I then did a rip of the same movie using the MKV.H265 profile and Standard Video Quality to be the baseline for comparison with the Converter and Compressor modules.

In the Ripper, the MKV.H265 profile showed that it would use a Bit Rate of 1681 for Standard Video Quality. The actual file output details from MediaInfo show the file as:
Naked Space (Ripper) 1.09 GB, with Bit Rate of 1720.

This will be the baseline, and I EXPECT the output from Converter and Compressor SHOULD be similar.

For testing with Converter and Compressor, I used the Naked Space (Passthrough) file as input. This uncompressed file is 4.03GB with Bit Rate of 6900, and it should be functionally the same as using the original source disc as input to Ripper.

In Converter, I used MKV Same as Source profile, and selected H265 Standard quality in the Settings. The Converter showed it would use a Bit Rate of 1550. Actual file output details:
Naked Space (Converter) 1.02 GB, with Bit Rate of 1597.

In Compressor, I used MKV Same as Source profile, and selected H265 Standard quality in the Settings. The Compressor showed it would use a Bit Rate of 4055. Actual file output details:
Naked Space (Compressor) 2.41 GB, with Bit Rate of 4055.

    Summary of Results:
The results form the Converter are fairly similar to the Ripper Baseline - I do not know why it calculates a different Bit Rate, but at least it is close.
The results from the Compressor are a mind-boggling MESS. Using the same input and same profile settings, it uses a Bit Rate almost THREE TIMES what the Converter does! How can this be Justified??????
