    Strange stuff

Just downloaded the new version, and all kinds of hell occurred (sarcasm)

Installed OK, then I started it up & went to YouTube, and Norton Sonar gave a pop-up, which I ignored. Went to a playlist and hit download. then got a dead screen. Attaching screen shots of Downloader, the Norton Sonar warning (from history), and 2 log files for you to examine.

I restored the file from Norton Sonar and will maybe try again or just wait for developers. I did have to completely remove the old version first because EVERYTIME I try installing over the old version, the program doesn't install correctly. Hope this all helps & is enough info

    Thanks

try adding dvdfab downloader to nortons exception list
then retry downloading your playlist and see if it still fails.

I'm having a similar problem. I'm getting this message, though only on 1 video so far (I successfully downloaded 8)

Click image for larger version Name:	error.PNG Views:	0 Size:	16.6 KB ID:	383330

I've tried adding Downloader to my exception list (Malwarebytes) with no luck, and when I try the browser extension I get about 100 videos that can be downloaded, none of which give the size or duration, so I don't know which one to try and download.

              edit:

here's the link to the video I can't download

I've had no problems downloading from from CBS up until the last version (when I couldn't download anything from anywhere) and this version where it's only happening on certain videos.
