Subtiles

I’ve noticed a difference in the behavior of the handing of subtitles between Netflix and Amazon. On Netflix if I select extract to srt file I get a video with no subtitles and the srt file. Also when I’m queuing up a title to download there is no subtitle language (or none) drop down.

on Amazon I do get the language drop down. If I have selected extract to srt and then I pick a language from the drop down (anything other than none) I get an srt file and a video with subtitles.

I prefer the Amazon options it allows me get and srt file, a video with subtitles. To get a video with no subtitles I selected remux to video and then select None for the subtitle language.

Also Amazon is fast, and seems to handle whole seasons and series just fine.

Netflix is so slooooow, but works. I’ll kick off a batch job and leave it for the day. Not complaining. It does work and I’m happy about that.
