I've got to say, this is an absolutely horrific practice, and an invasion of your customer's privacy. FORCING individuals to send crash reports, containing who knows what to who knows where? This is some rather sketchy garbage here.
It wouldn't be so bad if you actually hadn't gone as far as password protecting files and directories in the 'logs' folder (which you STILL place somewhere that you shouldn't be), but, nooooo, you now likely send THOSE , containing who knows what, to who knows where... NOT by choice, but by force
